Margarita Ruiz

Margarita Ruiz, age 84 of Crown Point, IN formerly of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, August 5, 2022.  She is survived by 5 children: Rosa (Neil) Hubble, Emilio (Brenda Beatty) Ruiz, Elizabeth (Manuel Lavin) Ruiz, Frank (late Susan) Ruiz and Patricia (Mark Williams) Ruiz; 5 grandchildren: Maggie and Ian Hubble, Marissa and Kirstyn Ruiz, Nathaniel Ruiz Williams; 3 great grandchildren: Chase Ebeltoft, Trinity and Tinley Willey; 1 sister and 1 brother in Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews; and Dolores Hernandez and Alice Gamez, true friends and sisters in spirit. Preceded in death by her husband, Emilio Ruiz (2015).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3510 Deodar Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Luis Fernando Fernandez officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Church on Monday morning.
