Michael Michel

Michael Michel, age 70 of Hammond, IN passed away Wednesday, Decemeber 11, 2019.  He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Christine (nee Margetis) Michel; sister, Linda Michel who just passed away December 14, 2019; step daughter, Cassandra Janiszewski; step son, Robert Janiszewski; 3 grandchildren: Alexandra, Autumn and Bobby; special nephew, Hank (Gladys) Cook; many other nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents, Michael and Elizabeth Michel; brothers, David and Bill; sisters, Patricia and Jean.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday morning.
