Miguel G. Ortiz

Miguel G. Ortiz, age 54 of East Chicago, IN passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at home.  He is survived by 2 daughters, Chrystal Ortiz and Angel Grace Ortiz; 3 sons Michael Gregory Ortiz, Alex Ortiz and Eric Green; mother, Maria Aurora Ortiz; 2 brothers, Santiago and Roberto L. Ortiz; sisters: Yvonne (Joe) Alvarez, Pearl (Paul) Chandler; Genoveva (late Mickey) Lowy and Mary Lou (late Isaac) Ortiz;  nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his father, Roberto Lopez Ortiz; sisters, Anna Marie Duran Ortiz and Roberta Lee Ortiz Christen.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. John Bosco Church, 7113 Columbia Avenue, Hammond, IN with Rev. Richard A. Orlinski officiating.  Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 2:00 to 7:30 pm at St. John Bosco Church and from 9:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Thursday morning.
