Paul J. Villarreal

Paul Joseph Villarreal, 58 years of age, of Dyer, IN was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

He is survived by his siblings; Rachel Villarreal Ortiz, Cecelia (Rafael) DeJesus, Natalie Villarreal, Madeline (Clement) Murrell, David Villarreal, Suzanne (David) Parker and Gerald (Rhonda) Villarreal.  Numerous Nephews, Nieces, Great nephews, and nieces. Numerous Uncles and Aunts.

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Amy Villarreal, Parents:  Robert F. Villarreal, Sr. and Alice Villarreal, brothers: Robert, Jr., and Thomas.  Sister: Diane Hernandez, brother-in-law:  Eloy Hernandez. 

Paul was blessed many years with two best friends:  Juan Andrade and Steve Hicks. Paul was a graduate of East Chicago Washington High School and was a member of St. Patrick's Church in East Chicago, IN and Living Grace Church in Merrillville, IN. Paul was very active and always had high dreams.  He was a DJ (DJ Big Thunder) for many years.  He loved people.

He received Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1980:  As stated in the Book of Romans 10: 8-9

Paul is healed, because there is no sickness in heaven.

Paul will be deeply missed by all who loved him, but it is a consolation that he is now in the company of his Creator.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Living Grace Church of the Nazarene, 2408 W. 78th Avenue, Merrillville, Indiana.
