Ramiro Salgado Reyes

Ramiro Salgado Reyes, age 66, of Gary, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.  Ramiro is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Telesfora Reyes; 4 children:  Ivan (Martha) Reyes, Roxana Reyes, Ramiro (Maria) Reyes, Jr., and Freddy (Rosa) Reyes; 8 granchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers:  Jaime and Eric; 5 sisters:  Maria Elena, Mirna, Xochilt, Patricia, and Maria; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Preceded in death by his parents:  Jairo Reyes and Guadalupe Salgado; 2 sisters: Noemi and Eliud; and brother, Omar.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana. Rev. Pat Gaza will hold services 7:00 pm Friday.  Burial will be at Apipilulco Municipal Cemetery, Apipilulco, Guerrero, Mexico.

Ramiro was a very happy man, living his life as he wanted.  He enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandchildren; a very protective man especially concerning his family.  He could be difficult to live with at times but was a very loving man.  He was a jokester and loved to laugh.  His family and friends will miss him very much.  To send an online condolence, logon to: www.fifefuneralhome.com
