Rosemary (Pineda) Muniz

Rosemary Muniz (nee Pineda), age 60 of Gary, Indiana, passed away April 15, 2022.  Rosemary is survived by her husband, Alberto Muniz, Sr.; Children:  Jose R. Rodriguez, Jose P. Rodriguez, Domingo Rodriguez, Alberto Muniz, Jr., Bernardo Muniz, Elizabeth, Madison, Alex and Aden Muniz; Granddaughters:  Mercedes, Emilia and Emma Reese Muniz; Sisters:  Hilda and Maria E. Pineda; Brothers:  Billy Pineda and Ronald (Xiaohua) Pineda; Sisters-in-law: Nancy Pineda and Myriam Pineda.  Rosemary is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Maria Pineda; brother, Domingo Pineda; and daughter, Maria Rodriguez.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rosemary’s life on Friday, May 6, 2022 at St. Ann’s Church, 6025 W. 25th Ave., Gary, IN, with a Memorial Mass at 12:00 Noon with Father Theodore Mens officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 am to the time of the Mass.

Rosemary was a graduate of Bishop Noll Institute and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.  She was President of the St. Ann Church Rosary Sodality and President of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
